About Me
I'll be honest. I didn't start out planning to open a group practice. I just really liked helping people, and here we are.
Helping people has always come naturally to me. It's not something I had to talk myself into. It's just who I am. When you genuinely enjoy what you do, it doesn't feel like work — and that energy comes through in every session.
I spent nine years working in schools, supporting kids from kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for how differently people experience stress, growth, and change depending on where they are in life. These days, my practice is split between adolescents and adults, and I genuinely love working with both.
My approach is rooted in CBT — in plain terms, we'll look at how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect, and work on shifting the patterns that aren't serving you. But I'm not rigid about it. Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all, and if a different approach fits you better, we'll go that route.
A lot of what brings people in revolves around anxiety, stress, and those moments that feel heavier than they should — or catch you completely off guard. Whatever's going on, no stiff office energy, no jargon, no judgment. Just honest conversation.
When I'm not in session, you'll probably find me watching the Yankees or Rangers with my family, keeping the faith through every season. (Sorry, Mets and Islanders fans. Kind of.)
